OUR NAME
Why Kereru?
The native wood pigeon or kereru, is a large, treasured bird of New Zealand. It has striking green, bronze and white plumage and distinctive loud wingbeats when it flies. Kereru is also the name of a historical farming area in Hawke’s Bay, the region that Kereru Foods calls home.
